Jeffrey Van Sambeek
Owner, Principal Architect
Jeffrey Van Sambeek is a licensed architect and head of Lodestone Design Group. Jeff brings the value of more than 20 years of experience in architecture, planning, interior design and construction management to every project he participates in. His work experience includes several hundred unique structures including residential, commercial, retail, restaurants and municipal buildings.

Mary Dimmick
Senior Interior Designer/Certified Kitchen & Bath
Mary joined the Lodestone interior design team in the spring of 2019. With a background primarily in residential architectural and interior design, Mary is excited to expand out into the world of commercial design. She is also a NKBA certified Kitchen and Bath Designer and is passionate about sustainable design practices. Mary loves connecting with clients and creating spaces that are uniquely tailored to their specific needs and wants. When not thinking about tile and kitchen work zones, Mary enjoys playing in the mountains with her husband and young daughter. here

Matt Potter
Architect
Matt has over 12 years of design experience in retail, residential, multi-family and commercial projects. He enjoys working with clients to help design spaces that fit their individual lifestyle. Keeping up on the latest trends in building and sustainability and creating thoughtfully crafted buildings are Matt’s passion. When not working, Matt enjoys being as active as possible anywhere outdoors in Colorado with his wife and two kids.

Nicole Nutting
Architect
Nicole moved to Boulder in 2005 to pursue her Undergraduate and later Masters degree in Architecture. She is passionate about space planning and how the built world influences our daily lives. When Nicole isn’t working with clients and designing spaces, she’s likely outside skiing, camping, or gardening along with her husband and three kids.

Scott Robinson
Senior Architectural Designer
Scott has been on the Lodestone team since 2014 bringing over 20 years of architectural experience and construction project management in both Colorado and Hawaii. His focus has been on high-end ocean front homes, residential, commercial buildings, educational institutions, multi-family residential, and planning. Scott has a wife and three children, and when not creating CAD drawings, he can be found fishing with his youngest and exploring the off road trails of the Rockies.

Valerie Eric
Architectural Designer
Val joined the Lodestone team in 2014 as one of its original employees, and although she left to explore other opportunities, she returned in 2022. She enjoys all aspects of the design process, but has a particular aptitude for Revit drafting and construction document production. In her free time she enjoys CrossFit, cycling, playing guitar, and drawing custom pet portraits that she sells on Etsy.

Naomi Miller
Senior Interior Designer
Naomi is a recent addition to the Lodestone team, bringing with her over 7 years of experience in both residential and commercial design. With a background encompassing architecture, construction processes and client & contractor relations, Naomi has developed a passion for crafting sustainable, aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces that truly cater to the people who use them. Naomi also has experience in project management and clients love her ability to advocate for them while interacting well with contractors and vendors. When she’s not designing, she can be found practicing yoga, trying new restaurants, keeping up with design trends, at her kids’ high school sports events or somewhere in nature.

David Carron
Production Team Leader
David was brought on mid 2023 as Production Team Leader, which is a new role at the firm. He graduated with a Masters of Architecture from Montana State University and brings with him over 8 years of industry experience. He has a passion for leading and mentoring entry-level professionals as well as designing and implementing systems and processes. When not working, he enjoys gaming and hanging out with his rescue dog Sarge.

Bella Zambole
Architectural Designer
Bella joined Lodestone in 2023 as an Architectural Designer. She moved from the Chicago area to Northern Colorado in 2016 and after attending CSU, completed a degree in Interior Architecture and Design. She enjoys the opportunity to be creative and loves seeing a project come to life. When Bella is not working she is spending time with Oliver, the best Corgi ever, or looking forward to the next F1 Grand Prix weekend!

Hope Johns
Office Manager
Hope joined the Lodestone Team in early 2023 as Office Manager. She is passionate about helping her colleagues with projects, keeping the office organized and running smoothly, and interacting with clients. She has a Bachelors in Home Furnishings Merchandising and over 15 years experience in the design industry, specifically flooring. When not working, Hope can be found with her dog Coco by her side, exploring the beautiful outdoors, trying new places to eat, and hanging out with friends and family.

Scout
Chief Wellness Officer
Scout joined the team ruff-ly 6 years ago. Her main duty is making sure everyone who comes by the Lodestone office receives a warm and friendly welcome. In her down time she loves getting belly rubs, taking naps and going on walks around the local park.
